Tis The Season !!!

We've been on the go AGAIN !!! Holiday Decorating, Christmas Shopping, Baking, Wrapping, Cards, Pictures......... And I still have so much to do! Afterall, this IS Baby's 1st Christmas !!!! And now that Nolan is officially crawling, he is keeping us on our toes ; )

We've even managed a quick trip to the North Pole for Nolan to meet Santa : ) Nolan was totally awestrcuk with Santa and his fluffy white beard. He even gave it a hard tug JUST to make sure it was real !!!

What's up Doc

Nolan has officially had his 1st Dr.'s visit (outside of his scheduled monthly checks). Poor guy has had a nagging cold and cough the past 2 weeks. No fever, but thought we better take him....... Sure glad we did, DOUBLE ear infections : (

Despite the bad news, he has still been the smiley, loveable, same 'ol good tempered baby as always. Here's to hoping you are back to 100% soon Noli Bear !!!

Busy Bee's

Life can get so BUSY sometimes !!! We've been on the go lately..... Nolan's had a busy couple of weeks. He attended his 1st Birthday Party. Jackson & Blake are two houses down and only 5 months older than Nolan. I can see the 3 of them causing terror to the neighborhood in a few short years!

We have found and interviewed a babysitter. Sam. Nolan is just in love with her : ) She is 14 years old and has a 2 year old brother. Her Mom also Nanny's out of their home so she has been around young children all her life. She is involved with her youth group at church, plays volleyball & softball, and maintains a 4.0. I think we've hit the jackpot !!!

We've also celebrated Nolan's 7 Month Birthday (11/12/2011). As for the present, we booked a trip to Florida..... Ha, all kidding aside,  we  do have a mini getaway/wedding to Marco Island in January. I am getting overly excited for Nolan's first trip to the beach, but am already getting anxious about the plane ride.... Wish us luck !!! I am also happy that my parents will be joining us. Someone's Grandpa will be turning FIFTY !!!!!


Nolan is growling like a weed and has begun to eat us out of house and home. He is eating 2 jars of food at every sitting. His new flavor of the month: Sweet Corn Casserole. Also a BIG Fan of french toast and Mrs. Butterworth's.......

Nolan is also getting more mobile. Not quite crawling yet, but desperately trying. He looks like a combination of an inch work & fish out of water...... Pretty funny. I guess he is all over the place in the walker at MaeMae's. Running into kids, knocking them over, stealing their toys !!! Sounds like we may have a bully on our hands! And here he is, caught red handed......



Trick Or Treat

Nolan was so excited to meet with his buddies Blake & Jackson before Trick or Treating on their first Halloween!

In between the Twix, Snickers & Hershey Kisses, Nolan took a timeout for REAL kisses !!!!

After a brief intermission and costume change Nolan was ready to hit the rest of the neighborhood.

Best Part of the night - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups : )

A Bunch of Bananas

Nolan recruited Jake and Roscoe to help pass out candy on Begger's Night. Jakey was a litte camera shy, but we got some good shots of Roscoe and Nolan !!!
